Home For Christmas Medallion For Blogger's Quilt Festival

I am so excited to share my Home For Christmas Medallion quilt for the Blogger's Quilt Festival.  This quilt will be entered into the Original Design quilt category.  Thank you so much to Amy at Amy's Creative Side for hosting this wonderful event!

The center star of the medallion is three concentric stars. This is surrounded by presents with colorful bows. The next border is peppermints. Christmas trees and corner ornaments surround the peppermints. A candy cane border surrounds all those Christmas trees. Finally, a border of bright suburban houses finishes the quilt with corner friendship stars.

I free-motion-quilted the quilt with an all-over swirl design. I love the texture from the dense quilting. It washed up all crinkly and beautiful.

The binding echoes the candy cane border. SWEET!
